Home Improvements

Ever since the announcememnt of the pregnancy my parents have been wanting to help us get our house in order so that when the baby arrives we are ready. They at first wanted to help us with the babies room so that he had his own room that didnt have weight equipment in it that he isnt quite ready for yet although his daddy may think so! John and my dad immediately started coming up with plans of things that needed to be done and althought we have yet to get to the babies room the house is really shaping up! First we did the guest bathroom which is something that we have needed to get to for a long time but never really had the money for it. Unfortunately I dont have a before picture because we forgot to take one when we started but we have some during the process and then the finished product. I cant belive how different it looks I am in absoulte amazment and the pictures just dont do it any justice at all! We ran into a few problems along the way but nothing to worry about so its on to the next project.....
This is the shower its all tile now before it was plastic
Here is one view of the counter And the view from the other angle!

Now they have decided to start on the kitchen which we are getting rid of one of the bedrooms for becuase our kitchen is so small! I will take pictrues of the old one soon but here are some pics of the remodling in progress.

Colorado

This summer we got the chance to visit Colorado with Johns some of family becuase it was his great Uncles 75th wedding anniversary! Unfortunately we didnt get to go to the actual anniversary party because we had to get back to work but we did get to meet his 93 year old uncle for the first time. He is such a funny guy and reminds me so much of Johns dad. While we were there we were able to do a lot of neat things although i didnt get to enjoy them becuase it was at the very beginning of my pregnancy and I felt like crap which always puts me in a really good mood! The first place that we visited was Tiny Town which is a up in the mountains of colorado and has a bunch of little timy houses that resemble different things like that Adams Family, Or a Harley Davidson Shop etc. It was neat and we also got to ride on a little train which was a lot of fun for TJ and us also :) After tiny town we went to Buffalo Bills memorial where we found a tree that had hundreds and hundreds of lady bugs on it! It was the weirdest thing that any of us had ever seen. The next day we went to the Dinosaur Mountian where we took a tour bus and saw all different kind of fossils from dinosaurs and even some realy dinousaur tracks that were still in the mountain! That same day we went to a theme park and got to ride on this slide that you have to take a ski lift to get to the very top! It was so much fun we even had to ride on it twice, i just wish that people would go a little bit faster.
We even brought the dogs with us and although they had to stay in the hotel for the majority of the time I think they really enjoyed being in Colorado with us instead of having to stay home.

New Blog....New Baby!

I am finally 12 weeks prego so I feel like it is time to blog about the new addition to our family! I was nervous to bring it up before just because of the miscarriage that i had last time but the doctor said that we are pretty much in the clear. I am so excited to be having a baby that I am finding myself getting to a milestone in the pregnancy and instead of enjoying it for all its worth I am just starting to think about what comes next. I even took a home gender test! Who knows if those work but it said that we will be having a baby boy, I guess we will have to see unfortunately its not for another 6 weeks :( So anyways so good so far we have had a strong heart beat at the last two appointments and I have been feeling pretty good lately, I was told that I would probably be on bed rest with this pregnancy but it hasn't happened yet!
